Hello democracy voucher reformers!

Exciting news—we've just received word that at tomorrow's City Council meeting at 10AM PT, Councilmember Nithya Raman is planning to introduce a motion requesting the City's Chief Legislative Analayst and the Ethics Commission to study the feasibility of establishing a democracy vouchers campaign finance system here in LA City. We are thrilled to see Los Angeles moving towards expanding its public financing system and empowering more Angelenos to participate in our democracy. This is just the first official step in a longer process to start studying the potential of democracy vouchers in Los Angeles.
